You didn't think your day could start off any better with a cup of fresh craft roasted Verena Street® coffee, but you can take it to a whole new level and show your true passion with this one-of-a-kind stoneware mug featuring an intricately detailed medallion with our Julien's Breakfast Blend® graphics that will have you in awe of the craftsmanship each time you admire it.
  • Hand crafted in Minnesota by Deneen Pottery, a second-generation family business established in 1972. 100% handmade, hand thrown pottery made in the USA!
  • Each mug is touched by over 24 pairs of hands and although amazingly uniform, no two are exactly the same.
  • Kiln fired to 2150ºF, this mug is durable and safe for the microwave, dishwasher, oven and freezer and is lead-free & food safe.
  • Sizing and finish may vary slightly from mug to mug due to each mug being hand crafted.

The stately Ramsey, with a nice big handle and a capacity at 14 oz.+, was created by potter Jon C. for a new mug style competition held back in 2013. It was named after the county in St. Paul where Deneen Pottery creates all their handmade pottery mugs.

    About Julien's Breakfast Blend®

Dubuque is known as the first European settlement in what is now Iowa, and is named after Julien Dubuque, a French Canadian born in 1762. Julien Dubuque secured rights from the Mesquakie Indians in 1788 to mine their land for lead, and in 1796 petitioned the Spanish governor for permanent possession of this land. Legend has it that Dubuque married Potosa, the daughter of Peosta, Chief of the Mesquakie Indians. When Dubuque died in 1810, the Mesquakie buried him beneath a log mausoleum overlooking what is now Dubuque, Iowa and the Mississippi River. In 1897, the Julien Dubuque Monument was constructed on this site in remembrance of the city's founder.
