Q: Is your coffee gluten-free and allergy-free?
A: Our coffee and flavoring syrups are considered gluten-free since they do not have barley, malt ingredients or wheat. They also do not have any of the 8 known allergens: milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and soybeans.
Q: Is there sugar in your flavored coffees? What is the nutritional value of your coffees?
A: Coffee flavoring syrups give flavor via aroma versus taste, and there is virtually no nutritional value to the flavorings used. There is no sugar in our coffees unless it is added by the consumer. If you are used to using creamer and sugar in your coffee, we highly encourage you to try ours without it. We have had many people tell us they cannot drink 'black' coffee until they try ours and now it is the only way they drink it!
Q: Do you provide samples of your coffee?
A: We get this question a lot. Typically, a friend has recommended us and you are hesitant to go out on a limb and try something different. We understand -coffee drinkers are loyal! We suggest you peruse the reviews on our products found on each product page to get an idea of what other customers think of our products and find out what you can expect from us. Q: What process do you use to make your decaffeinated coffee?
A: The beans we use in our decaf blend, Sunday Drive™, are processed using the Swiss Water Process of caffeine removal.
Q: Why don't you sell more decaf offerings?
A: We occasionally get this question. The market for decaf coffees is a fraction of the size of the general coffee market so in order to keep the freshest coffee possible on store shelves, we have a limited offering of decaf coffees. If you do not need to cut out the caffeine entirely, we suggest you try mixing 50% of a regular coffee with 50% decaf beans before brewing to add some variety to your coffee while limiting your caffeine intake.
Q: My favorite coffee is (insert favorite Verena Street™ blend here). Why don't you carry it in more package sizes or options?
A: We are constantly monitoring our sales trends and try to optimize our offerings to what is being demanded the most, in order to maintain the freshest inventory possible of each item we produce.
Q: Does your company support sustainability practices?
A: We utilize several different origins of coffee beans, all of which are sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms. We have chosen to source coffee from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms because it ensures that our coffee beans are grown in a sustainable manner. "Farmers that earn the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal are audited annually against a rigorous standard with detailed environmental, social and economic criteria" which are "designed to protect biodiversity, deliver financial benefits to farmers, and foster a culture of respect for workers and local communities. Q: When can I expect my order? How fast is your shipping?
A: When you place an online order with us, it will be shipped out within 1 business day. Our standard shipping method is UPS Ground, so your order will usually arrive within 1 - 5 business days depending on your location. We ship within the contiguous 48 states only. For shipments to a mililtary/APO address, please contact us. You will receive a shipping confirmation upon completion of your order that will include your tracking number.
Q: Where else can I buy your coffee?
A: Our coffee is available to buy at grocery and club stores in select Midwest markets. You can use our Store Locator to find the stores nearest you that sell our coffee.
Q: I noticed that my local grocer sells your coffee. Will the quality be as good and the beans as fresh as buying it directly from your website?
A: Although the beans might not literally be AS fresh as the ones shipped directly from our facility, they will certainly be some of the freshest that you will find offered in the store. We work closely with our distributors and retailers to ensure that our products are inventoried as-needed and ordered frequently enough so that product is not sitting in inventory for longer than necessary.
Q: Do you have a refund or return policy?

Q: Do you offer tours of your facility?
A: Due to food safety regulations, we do not offer regularly scheduled tours within our production facility at this time. However, we have visible access within our lobby tasting room that will enable visitors to see into the coffee roasting and packaging area.
