Our signature blend and one of our best sellers, this whole bean medium roast coffee has a smooth body with a rich and bold but approachable roast flavor and an appealing aftertaste. We crafted this blend to appeal to the broadest of taste profiles by imbuing a rich but smooth roast flavor with a mellow and appeasing finish which will leave you satisfied but intrigued for more.

For our breakfast blend coffee, we blend several different bean origins from Central America and Indonesia together to create a flavor that cannot be duplicated in any one single origin coffee bean. We have crafted a flavor profile that is full-bodied with a well balanced richness to give you a satisfying coffee taste without an overbearing aftertaste or bitterness. We roast it to a medium level, or a full city roast.  We can't think of any better way to start your day, but this will quickly become your favorite go-to coffee for any time of day!

    About Julien's Breakfast Blend®

Dubuque is known as the first European settlement in what is now Iowa, and is named after Julien Dubuque, a French Canadian born in 1762. Julien Dubuque secured rights from the Mesquakie Indians in 1788 to mine their land for lead, and in 1796 petitioned the Spanish governor for permanent possession of this land. Legend has it that Dubuque married Potosa, the daughter of Peosta, Chief of the Mesquakie Indians. When Dubuque died in 1810, the Mesquakie buried him beneath a log mausoleum overlooking what is now Dubuque, Iowa and the Mississippi River. In 1897, the Julien Dubuque Monument was constructed on this site in remembrance of the city's founder.
