Cheers to one of our favorite days of the year – National Coffee Day! We love celebrating the beloved caffeinated beverage, coffee. Although, we feel like we celebrate National Coffee Day every day at Verena Street! Let’s learn a little bit more about this fun holiday.

What is National Coffee Day?

National Coffee Day has a pretty silly origin. September 29th became the national holiday as a reminder that summer was ending, and it’s time for us to get back to work. If we’re getting back to work, a caffeine boost is exactly what’s needed to get us energized and back in the routine. Nowadays, we love celebrating this fun holiday more as a reason to drink our favorite coffee, not so much a reminder to get back to work.
