Coarse Ground Coffee for French Press

Unlike some brewing methods, the French press relies on immersion, where grounds are fully submerged in hot water. This calls for a coarse grind, similar to sea salt. Too fine, it will pass through the filter into your coffee. Pre-ground coffee is often too fine and can lead to a bitter or gritty brew. We recommend using freshly roasted whole bean coffee and grinding it just before brewing for optimal flavor.
