If you start with a bad bean, you'll never get a good cup. We source only high-quality, sustainably grown coffee because bean quality is the foundation of every roast we create.
Each batch is roasted to a specific level to highlight its unique character and derive the best possible flavor and aroma. Our lightest roasts are never too light, acidic nor sour tasting and our darkest roasts are never too burnt, smoky nor bitter tasting.
From the moment the beans leave the roaster, the clock is ticking. To lock in peak flavor and aroma, we package and distribute them immediately, ensuring your coffee arrives as fresh as the day it was roasted.

What is medium roast coffee?
Medium roast coffee is roasted between light and dark, reaching an internal temperature of 410–430°F, just after the beans’ first “crack.” Light roast ends shortly after that first crack, while dark roast continues well into a second crack at higher heat. Medium roast sits right in the middle — long enough for natural sugars to caramelize but not so long that oils reach the surface. The result is a smooth, balanced cup where the brightness of light roast meets the rich depth of dark roast.
Why is medium roast coffee beans the most popular roast level?
Most coffee drinkers prefer medium roast because it tastes familiar, balanced, and approachable. Light roasts can lean floral or tangy, while dark roasts can taste smoky or heavy. Medium roast sits perfectly in the middle, offering warmth, body, and subtle sweetness — a flavor profile that satisfies most palates.
How much caffeine is in medium roast coffee?
Medium roast coffee has nearly the same caffeine as light or dark roasts — usually 85–100 mg per 8-ounce cup. Light roast retains the most caffeine by weight since it’s denser and roasted for a shorter time. Dark roast loses a small amount during longer roasting, but the difference is minimal in your cup. Flavor changes more than caffeine level, so your brew ratio and grind size affect caffeine far more than the roast itself.
What beans do you use for your medium roast coffees?
We use 100 percent Arabica beans, hand-picked from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms in regions like Brazil, Honduras, Colombia, and Sumatra. Arabica grows at higher altitudes and matures slowly, producing smoother, more flavorful beans than Robusta.
