A tribute to nostalgia and good times past
Verena Street® Story
Verena Street® Coffee is named after the neighborhood where we grew up in the Mississippi River valleys of Dubuque, Iowa. The original Verena Street was removed years ago for highway expansion but now lives on as the namesake of our craft roasted coffee. Although we can no longer walk down Verena Street, it is a place we can once again call home.
Verena Street® coffee is roasted in small batches for maximum freshness and smooth, balanced flavor. We focus on approachable blends and flavored coffees that deliver specialty quality at an everyday price, with certifications like Rainforest Alliance and Swiss Water® Process decaf for sustainability and purity.
This coffee shines in drip coffee makers and pour-over brewers with a medium grind. For French press, a coarser grind will highlight the smooth body. It also works well in automatic coffee machines.
Our coffee blends mix beans from different regions, aiming for balance and flavor complexity with a high level of consistency from batch to batch. Single-origin lets the unique profile of one region shine and is roasted to a level that best complements the characteristics of the specific bean.
